About Us
The Voice of the Prescott Pilot.
The Mission
The Prescott Airport Users Association (PAUA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the interests of the men and women who fly out of Ernest A. Love Field (KPRC). In an era of rapid growth and shifting regulations, we serve as the vital link between the pilot community, airport management, and the City of Prescott.
Why We Exist
Prescott Regional is more than just a strip of asphalt; it is a complex ecosystem. Between world-class flight training, increasing commercial service, and a deep-rooted GA history, the “spirit of flight” requires active protection. PAUA was formed to ensure that the individual pilot—the heart of this airport—is never sidelined.
Our Philosophy: Aviate, Advocate, Communicate
We believe that a healthy airport is one where pilots are connected, protected, and informed.
- Aviate: We promote the social and cultural side of flying. Through social events, fly-outs, scholarships, and networking, we keep the fun in flying and help local pilots build lasting friendships.
- Advocate: We represent you at City Council meetings, Airport Advisory Committee sessions, and in discussions regarding hangar leases and airport infrastructure. We are your lobbyist for fair fees and better facilities.
- Communicate: We bridge the gap. By facilitating dialogue between the GA community, the tower, and the flight schools, we make KPRC a safer, more transparent place to operate.
Whether you are a student pilot, a weekend warrior, or a retired pro with a lifetime of logbooks, you belong here. Your membership ensures that the “gateway to Northern Arizona” remains a premier destination for general aviation.
